MAORI CANDIDATES '99 :

RANGATAHI, INFORMATION & THE FUTURE

The Hon Tau Henare, Sandra Lee, Donna Awatere-Huata, and John Tamihere have accepted invitations to participate in a panel discussion at Auckland Central City Library.

The panelists will present their personal and political visions for an information-rich future for Maori youth, and the role that libraries can play.

The Hon Georgina te Heuheu has also expressed an interest in participating and will attend subject to being granted leave from the House.

No reira, naumai, piki mai, haere mai .......

Time: 5.30pm for 6pm
Venue: Te Whare Wananga, 2nd Floor, Auckland Central Library
Cost: $5.00 (to cover cost of refreshments)
