Fax to Israeli Ambassador

The Ambassador,
Israeli Embassy,
Wellington
Your Excellency,
Illness unfortunately prevents me from attending the vigil outside your Embassy this afternoon.
I do not, however, want to let the opportunity pass without expressing my utter disgust at your government's actions against the Palestinians.
For the first time in my life I am thoroughly ashamed of being Jewish. Little did I think, when I fled from Hitler's Germany as a child, that it would come to this.
Please pass my comments on to your government.
